These bloggers and webmasters were critical of him for posing as a young girl looking for casual sex on Criags List, collecting the responses, and making the private info public.

makes me feel sorry for the guy, though when I look at his behaviour on the internet (simple google search) my feelings switch to pity, like seeing a sickly stray cat with patches of fur missing buzzing with flies, obviously hungry but to wretched to illicit help or affection.
i would advise you read up on him before you "feel sorry" for him. seriously.
As per posted suggestion, I read up on Michael Crook. If heactually feels like a victim, he is seriously emotionally disturbed. Though, reading how creepy and sleazy he is, and how he has treated other people, I downgrade him from a sickly stray cat with patches of missing fur buzzing with flies to a sickly-thin mangy dog, with no fur and covered in pus-oozing wounds, buzzing with flies, missing one eye with maggots writhing in the socket that was once his other eye, angry and ready to bite, except he is too weak to move, so all his does is writhe in the dirt and growl, snapping pathetically at anyone who comes near. Fortunately, he has no teeth.

And what was the original intent of the posters Crook tricked into giving their private pictures. It is unbelievable that he expects people to believed all this while doing the exact opposite. He must live in some kind of bizzaro world.
Michael Crook you are a worm of the lowest order...crawl back into the rock you came out from under. How dare you bash our troops in order to gain financially. Yeah I've seen your sites and how when they shut down you put them on ebay or put them up for sale. My family has been Military since the civil war to include my own service to this country and my now Husbands service to this country. I don't feel sorry for you...but one word of advice leave my country since you have no respect for it or those that serve it and protect your freedom to spout ignorant statements on the internet and our media.
